Teen saved after falling on cliff

A teenage girl has been lifted out of a position, which experts termed as precarious, in a cliff.He was among a group of people who were diving into the sea off rocks close to the Criccieth Castle in Gwynedd on Monday evening before climbing on a higher ledge and failing to descend.

A coastguard helicopter was also deployed and RNLI teams at Criccieth and Abersoch were dispatched followed by the rescue teams being able to pull the youngster out despite unharmed.A second teenager made attempts to rescue the first one but was also pulled out of the water in the conditions of the cold.

Teen saved after falling on cliffThe Criccieth Castle of the 13 th Century is located in a rocky headland by the Tremadog Bay and its cliffs reach 30m (98ft) into the sea.Criccieth RNLI took to its Facebook page to say that it was glad to find both teenagers alive and well following the ordeal but cautioned about the dangers behind tombstoning. 

It has issued a statement to the effect that diving off the boulders and cliffs around the castle is a common-place sport during the months between May and August, but any one going onto the rocks should note the serious, danger.It is a dangerous game that can result in either an injury or a tragedy as the statement said.
