As the victim listened Hesketh use his mobile phone, he was later joined by another 3 men who arrived on motorbikes.Rae, one of the men, went to the van and raped the victim. Then the two girls entered the back of the van and Hesketh and Linfoot drove them off to Adlington where they bought them a bottle of wine, afterwards taking them home.

Talking about the case, Det Con Robert Booth added: Thanks to the courage of the victim in reporting and placing her trust in us. She must have had a very hard time going through interviews and having to digest the experiences she was put through by these men.

He then added; "I would like to give out a message to any other perpetrators of sexual abuse; that we cannot condone this distasteful practice and we shall bring you to book."Det Con Booth has encouraged victims of rape and sexual abuse to report themselves to the police.
